the sturtevant micronizer® is a jet mill employing compressed air or gas to produce particles less than one micron. Inside the micronizer, precisely aligned jets create a vortex. Material is fed into this vortex along an engineered tangent circle and accelerates. High-speed rotation subjects the material to particle-on-particle impact, creating increasingly smaller fines. While centrifugal force drives large particles toward the perimeter, fine particles move toward the center where they exit through the vortex finder.

The LowLift cable hoist system incorporates a revolutionary design for lower loading angles, a smaller footprint, and faster loading and unloading times than other roll-off hoists. The LowLift has a hinged tail that serves as a loading platform, enabling easier and closer alignment with the container, and a greatly reduced loading angle, making it an ideal solution for areas with low overhead clearance.

The Heyl & Patterson Continuous Barge Unloader (CBU) is designed to unload materials such as coal, lime, limestone, petroleum coke, iron ore, wood chips and grain from barges at free digging rates of up to 5,000 tons per hour. Extremely efficient, this machine maintains a much higher average offloading rate than other types of barge unloaders, while horsepower requirements are much less than pneumatic systems. Very easy to operate, the CBU does not degrade fragile products and can be installed quickly due to its modular construction. Dust collection units are also available.

Jaw Buckets provide the versatility of a trenching bucket and a thumb in one unit without having to weld thumb brackets onto the boom. Jaw Buckets are effective jobsite trenchers and haulers of cumbersome materials.
