The primary school years are formative and impressionable years where the development of critical thinking and problem solving skills is extremely vital. Weve created an environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, empowered to face any challenge, and have our full support to reach their maximum potential. To connect with learners in this age of information, we constantly integrate technology into our teaching and make sure our students are aware of the changes happening around them.

As the kids leave the precious portals of the Kindergarten and enter Primary School they are greeted by new subjects and teachers. Over the next four years, they are fostered with introductions to various languages, science, humanities, arts and sports which bolster them intellectually and emotionally in accordance with their levels of understanding.

Junior Kg

In this stage of learning at CWS, learners are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and become self-reliant. The main focus is on developing personal and social skills. Learners are given responsibilities like leading small teams, managing groups and presenting their thoughts and ideas. Self-assessment is key to this stage as learners are encouraged to explore their own independence. Language skills are polished with special focus on grammar and vocabulary. Learners will by now be able to communicate confidently and effectively. They will also be at ease with numbers, geometry, measures, data handling and problem-solving. Young learners will be introduced to the world of scientific inquiry, their own bodies, chemical and physical aspects of the world around them and will be environmentally aware.

St Arnold Central School Aduvassery (SACS Aduvassery) saw the light of the day on 4 th June 2012, on the premises of our Residence (SVD House). At the formal opening ceremony Fr. Antony Puthumana, Rector of St Johns Mission Seminary, Changanassery lit the lamp and gave a brief message to the new students and staff. The key-note address was given by Mr Jose Puthussery, Catechism Head Master, Kuttipuzha Parish.
