In this stage of
learning at CWS, learners are encouraged to take responsibility for
their own learning and become self-reliant.
The main
focus is on developing personal and social skills. Learners are given
responsibilities like leading small teams, managing groups and
presenting their thoughts and ideas. Self-assessment is key to this
stage as learners are encouraged to explore their own independence.
Language
skills are polished with special focus on grammar and vocabulary.
Learners will by now be able to communicate confidently and effectively.
They will also be at ease with numbers, geometry, measures, data
handling and problem-solving. Young learners will be introduced to the
world of scientific inquiry, their own bodies, chemical and physical
aspects of the world around them and will be environmentally aware.
