We have a full-service boatyard with 6000 sq feet of covered area located two km from Mandwa jetty. Our yard is fully equipped for manufacturing boats and is capable of handling any job from routine annual maintenance to major yacht repairs and refit projects.Due to certain road restrictions we are limited to handling speed / sailing boats of size 36 ft length x 11 feet beam. The height of the trailable boats is restricted to 12 ft.For manufacturing boats up to 30 feet in length x 8/10 feet wide we have our own temperature controlled clean room for moulding and special spray jobs. To ensure continuous supply of electricity we have our own in house gen set.Woodwork cum fabrication shop complements the manufacturing and repair activity, allowing us to cater to the needs of the boat. In addition we also have our own in-house spar manufacturing and rigging facility (read more Typhoon Spars).

In Boat Building, Hi-Tech Mats, specially combination and higher GSM Chop Strand Mats are found to give good results. These are used for large and higher thickness mouldings.

We also provide FRP boat building and repair services. Design, manufacture, supply and service FRP boats for fishing/work/ tourism/patrol can be arranged by us. Fabrication of water sport equipments, marker buoys and other marine related products are also carried out. Goodwill engineering works started in the year 1978 as a ship repair unit, to cater to in-house repair facility for the Stevedoring and Shipping agency divisions.Simultaneously we started ship repair activities for other shipping companies calling at Chennai Port and Tuticurin port.In year 1987 Goodwill engineering works started Governor Services as a division of GEW to cater to servicing of ship board Governors.In the year 1988, GEW started ship building division to build harbour crafts for the major ports in India.Since the inception of the shipbuilding division and up to 2002, 54 vessels of medium and small size have been built and delivered to Major public sector ports, fisheries department , Police department and private parties.
