DescriptionGOODWILL ENGINEERING WOKSGoodwill engineering works started in the year 1978 as a ship repair unit, to cater to in-house repair facility for the Stevedoring and Shipping agency divisions.Simultaneously we started ship repair activities for other shipping companies calling at Chennai Port and Tuticurin port.In year 1987 Goodwill engineering works started Governor Services as a division of GEW to cater to servicing of ship board Governors.In the year 1988, GEW started ship building division to build harbour crafts for the major ports in India.Since the inception of the shipbuilding division and up to 2002, 54 vessels of medium and small size have been built and delivered to Major public sector ports, fisheries department , Police department and private parties. The total value of the vessels delivered up to 2012 is over Rs 110 Crores.
