Duration: 3 years (full time) divided into 6 semesters.Eligibility: Passed 10 + 2 with 50% aggregate in any stream.Admission procedure: On the basis of marks scored in H.S./ISC/CBSE or equivalent Board examination at +2 level. It is necessary that any student applying for BBA must have English as a subject at +2 level.Curriculum: The Course is a unique combination of multidisciplinary areas-Principles of Management, Strategic Management, Financial Management, Production Management, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Business Environment, Organization-Behavior, Business Law, Business Communication, Business Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Accounting, Management Information Systems.Students have the option to choose their specialization as elective subject in their personal areas of interest in the final semester.Graduates in this programme will find a triangular career path:-i) BBA leading to MBA,ii) BBA leading to direct access to Corporate Job Market,iii) BBA leading to Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy, Company Secretary-ship.

The college runs an Honours department of Business Administration to offer a self-financing BBA Honours degree courses with a distinguished faculty drawn from the premiermanagement institutions of kolkata. The courses has three parts - Part I , Part II , Part III. The Part I of BBA Honours courses provides solid grounding in Economics, Mathematics Accounting, Business and Corporate Laws etc. The Part II BBA Honours courses teaches the students general management topics. The Part III of BBA Honours course offers Specialization in Marketiing Management, Human Management, Financial Management etc. The students of the department enjoy the privilage of using a state of the art computer lab.

POST-GRADUATEADMISSION THROUGH Ph.D. ENTRANCE TEST (PET)

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course is a bachelors degree in Business Studies. In most universities, the degree is conferred upon a student after 3 years of full-time study. The BBA program provides a strong foundation for Management aspirants at the formative stage itself. This course provides a thorough grounding in decision making and support techniques and enables the students to deal with organizational problems. It also acquaints and prepares students for the more grueling Common Admission test (CAT).

Affiliation Approval The BBA(H) programme is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. Duration of BBA Programme It is 3 years full time programme. The Institute presently operates from 10:30am to 5:30 pm from Tuesday to Saturday. This unique time facilitates ample interaction between industry stalwarts and students and allow the students to pursue other courses like CA , CS . The practicing managers of leading industries in the city are generally invited for the last two periods. Admission Procedure Admission is based on performance of HS/ISC/CBSE exam scores. Candidates who have passed from other State Boards may also apply. Examination Promotion At the end of each semester a comprehensive test on each of the papers will be held. Besides these tests, there will be continuous evaluation during the session through cycle exams and assignments. The marks will be added to the Final Examination subject-wise. Promotion will be decided on the basis of overall performance in all the subjects for the second semester. A candidate failing in one or more papers may reappear at subsequent examination as per University rules. All the subjects are to be cleared at the Final Examination. Students will be awarded grades as per Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology grade system. Attendance The candidate shall become eligible to take the end semester examination ONLY if he/she has, besides fulfilling other requirements, attended 75% of the total number of lectures, tutorials and seminars conducted during the semester in the subjects concerned unless otherwise allowed by appropriate authorities. Medium of Instruction The medium of instruction and examination will be English.

BBA(H) is a three year honors degree course affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology, Govt. of West Bengal This undergraduate honors course prepare a aspirant student for work in a field of Banking finance, health care, insurance , real estate and retail business and technology. A student has to cover thirty five papers and a Study paper in any functional area (Finance/Marketing/Human Resource Management) spanned over 6 semesters. Lab and Other InfrastructureThe institute has a well stocked library containing more than 30,000 volumes of books, magazines and national and international journals. The institute subscribes more than 60 periodicals and journals. The institute library has access to e-journals such as IEEE, ELSEVIER, McGraw-Hill, EBSCO, ASTM Digital Library etc.The institute has state o the art computer centre.
