The PLF aims the process of poverty reduction by expanding human resources and its capabilities to trigger new ideas and paths of actions. It provides capacity-building support to the government, donors and NGOs in the emerging fields; and equipping people and institutions for qualitative changes in development policy and practice. In practice, PLF is involved in a two-way process: (a) partnering with research institutions, development actors and policy practitioners to refine and redefine research priorities and linking them to policies and practices; and (b) implementing projects by joining hands with institutions like WOTR, WASSAN, MANAGE, DDU (ISEC), CARE (India), FWWB, APMAS and DANIDA.
