Some children experience difficulties in school, ranging from
problems with concentration, learning, language and perception to
problems with behavior and/or making and keeping friends. These
difficulties may be due to one or more of the following:
Physical Disorders Delayed Milestones Emotional Problems Behavioral Problems Psychiatric Disorders Learning Disorders (or Disabilities) Family Issues
Due to these difficulties children face challenges in learning and
show less or no progress in their study and later on this affect their
social and emotional life too. Children with such special needs usually
need to receive additional services or accommodations.
We offer the programmes to help the cwsn learn to the best of his/her
abilities, building on strengths and working on the difficulties. Our
focus of the teaching is multi-dimensional and includes all important
functional skills like communication, social understanding, play and
leisure, self-care routines, emotional control etc.
At Anand Learning Centre we recognize the main problems/difficulties
of the children and discover the reason responsible for that, with the
initial assessments of the child. Based on the childs strengths,
behaviour and learning patterns, and the teaching-learning methods we
design the IEP (Individual Educational Plan) that fulfill the best need
of the child. Interesting and effective teaching methods, materials and
activities make the children more attentive in the learning process. We
discuss our plans with the parents for their active participation so
that they also can take care of the learning needs of the child.
By receiving our services children improve their skills, learn new
concepts and develop techniques to understand new things appropriately.
Our ultimate aim is to make the children independent. We provide special education for the following:
Children with Learning Difficulty Children with Learning Disability Children with Autism Children with Intellectual Challenges Children with Slow Learning Children with Downs syndrome Children with Hyperactivity Disorder Children with Cerebral Palsy
